GMRENCEN Holiday Headquarters

Detroit Pop-Ups, Holiday Caricatures And Selfies With Santa! 

Another chance to #ShopDetroit this season at the inaugural Holiday Headquarters pop-up shopping event inside the GMRENCEN in Tower 300, Level One, overlooking the GM Wintergarden. This four-day event will open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and feature eight local Detroit businesses, bringing everything from handmade jewelry and woodwork to gourmet nuts, chocolates, popcorn, candies and pet merchandise.

Sip, Shop & Stroll
December 10, 2015 6pm-9pm
 

The free event will feature complimentary beverages at John Varvatos, House of Pure Vin, Moosejaw, Nojo Kicks, Hot Sam’s, The North Face/Patagonia Shop, City Loft, Zieben Mare and Bon Bon Bon.

Each participating store will be open until 9pm, and you’re likely to find some special sales to save a few bucks.

In addition to shopping, several downtown restaurants are participating as well, including Townhouse, Central Kitchen & Bar, Vertical Detroit, and more

Participants will also enjoy Free parking at the Z lot, located at 1234 Library Street, as well as free shuttle service around the area.

Belle Isle Holiday Stroll
December 11, 2015 5pm-8pm

Explore the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, Belle Isle Aquarium and Dossin Great Lakes Museum and enjoy family-friendly holiday fun! 

Belle Isle Aquarium, Conservatory, Dossin Great Lakes Museum open from 5 pm to 8 pm (free admission)

Holiday music, free mulled cider and Dutch Girl Donuts at the Conservatory, while they last

Hot cocoa and cookies, holiday music, and free winter crafts at the Dossin

Donations of new teddy bears for the Michigan State Police “Trooper Teddy” program will be collected at the Aquarium and Conservatory, and new toys for the "Toys for Tots" program will be collected at the Dossin.
 

2015 Holiday Merriment & Makers Market

Join Ponyride's on Friday night from 6-10pm for a sneak peak of the Holiday Makers Market.  We promise you a great start to the holidays with food, drinks, and entertainment throughout all the studios in the building.   Proceeds from the evening will support Ponyride's educational programming, and your contribution is tax deductible.  Valet is provided for all attendees.
