It’s a Leap Year which means we're lucky enough to have an extra day to eat, drink, explore, share, love our city. How would you spend your extra day in Detroit? Share with us what's on your list for an extra day in Detroit from right when you wake up to before you go to sleep. We’ll compile submissions throughout the month of February and showcase our community’s extra day in Detroit in a video to be shared as inspiration for how to spend Saturday, February 29.

Our self-guided walking tour is a great way to explore some new places downtown.
1. Decide how you would spend your extra day in Detroit. Pick your favorite places to eat, drink, visit, explore, and celebrate. Need some help? Visit our Resource page for checklists, self-guided walking tour, and more. Or join us on an upcoming public tour to explore somewhere new.
2. Submit your spots from February 1 - February 28 by tagging @weknowdetroit and using the hashtag #extradetroitday through:
