Detroit Experience Factory is excited to offer the following events during the upcoming Meridian Winter Blast weekend, which hosts a unique combination of hip and fun winter events that are centered on Campus Martius Park.
Drive Detroit: Bus Tour
Saturday, February 7, 11am - 1pm. $10 for first 6 people, $20 for the rest (15 max)
Let’s start with an important disclaimer: Detroit is a city that may shock and surprise you. From the stunning natural landscape of Belle Isle Park, the largest island city park in the United States, to the bustling melting pot of food vendors at Eastern Market, we’ll explore some of this city’s most awe-inspiring and enduring destinations. The route will pass through Detroit’s central neighborhoods, including Downtown, East Riverfront, Midtown, New Center, and Eastern Market. Excited? Curious? Ready to geek out? So are we.

Walk Detroit: Downtown Walking Tour
Saturday, February 7, 2-4pm AND Sunday, February 8, 2-4pm, FREE
Downtown Detroit has a residential occupancy rate of 99%. Surprised? There’s more where that came from. Whether it’s the striking Art Deco architecture, animated public spaces, or stylish lofts and high rise living, we’re pretty sure you’ll find yourself asking: Where the heck am I? In the past few years, major developments have emerged along the Woodward Corridor, and downtown is the epicenter of it all. We’ll show you everything from city’s historic point of origin in Campus Martius Park, to the sleek new residential units at the Lofts at Merchant Row. But be warned, once we get on a roll, it’s hard to stop us. After all, we’ve been to all 139 bars and restaurants downtown. Have you?
