Shop Detroit Week
Supporting Detroit's Small Businesses this Holiday Season
This holiday season Detroit Experience Factory (DXF) is excited to partner with Build Institute and the Downtown Detroit Partnership to present Shop Detroit Week to encourage people to shop at Detroit stores, not just for the holidays, but all year long!
From November 26th to December 3rd, we’re skipping the malls for a unique shopping experience in Detroit. The week of shopping, entertainment and special promotions will highlight neighborhood small businesses and provide opportunities to interact with local owners and entrepreneurs. In order to maximize this experience for every shopper, we are connecting you to the exciting and fun shopping and entertainment opportunities happening in neighborhoods throughout the city! Events and experiences include an Eastern Market Shopping Tour, Build Bazaar, Neighborhood Walking Tours and more.
For fun pics and tips, use #shopdetroit on Twitter or Instagram.
Special for Shop Detroit Small Business Saturday, Build Bazaar, a rotating pop-up marketplace celebrating emerging entrepreneurs from the Build Institute, will feature an exciting and diverse array of local vendors selling products ranging from artisanal candles and soap to fresh baked goods and handcrafted jewelry.
