Detroit Experience Factory (DXF) is looking for an individual to support planning our customized experiences within the tour program. The Experience Coordinator position primarily acts as a liaison between DXF, clients and partners. This position is also tasked with keeping up-to-date information on the city, maintaining tour guide information, and conducting tours. The position requires the ability to provide excellent customer service while managing multiple projects with keen attention to quality and detail.
This is an full-time hourly position with benefits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Informing potential private clients about tour offerings
Planning and scheduling private tours for clients
Leading public and private tours
Capturing tour data in Salesforce
Contributing to historical and contemporary tour note research
Outreach to establish and grow client relationships
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
Passion for Detroit
Strong customer service and presentation skills
1-3 years of related experience preferred
Punctual and reliable
Verbal and written communication skills
Planning, prioritization and organization
Attention to detail
Effective time management
Critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to collaborate and work as a team
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite
Knowledge of Salesforce (or other CRM platform) preferred
